I want to show an Arduino based weather station with data showing on mobile device through NetIO app. Hope you like it and excuse my english :)


Our Arduino reads the sensor data in an interval ranging from one minute to eight and store them in variables. Since we want to display this data from outside of our house, it is absolutely necessary that NetIO always know what the public IP of our router , for this, the Arduino also update every ten minutes a DDNS service (we use No-IP, to be free ) in case there is no change in our IP address.

On the mobile device side will have a NetIO interface will have two pages, the main and settings. In the main screen, each tag data NetIO ask the Arduino every ten seconds to update to it, each sends its command and waits its value from the variable to display. In the settings screen, you have a button to force the Arduino to read data from the sensors, a slider to vary the range of sensor readings from the Arduino (with a scale of one to eight, as noted above), another button to reset the values ​​of maximum and minimum temperature, and finally, a label that displays the time in seconds since the last update (this label is the only element that requests data every second).
